About

Sarah Jane Palmer represents a vibrant blend of artistry, craftsmanship, and a heartfelt connection to the world around us. With a background as a nurse, Sarah has always had a nurturing spirit, which beautifully translates into her work as an artist, silversmith, and goldsmith. Her journey into the world of jewellery design is a testament to following one's passion and the pursuit of creativity.
Sarah's work is her style of contemporary fine jewellery. She works in silver and gold, and mostly works with precious and semiprecious gemstones, although occasionally she works with lab gemstones also.
From the very beginning, Sarah's love for art has been a guiding force in her life. She pursued her passion with determination, earning a distinction in her silversmithing diploma. Her talent and dedication led her to Central Saint Martins, and passionate to start up her own business she left the degree early to begin making her dream a reality.
What sets Sarah apart is her distinctive style, characterised by bold, colourful pieces that capture the essence of bohemian maximalism. Her work features contrasting colour palettes, rainbow hues, and watercolour effects to celebrate the beauty of the natural world and which inspire a feeling of joy or peace for the wearer. Each piece is a statement that reflects the wearer’s personal journey and connection to the world.
As an artisan, Sarah takes pride in creating one-of-a-kind pieces that resonate with her clients. She also works on commission, allowing her to bring her clients' visions to life while infusing her artistic touch into each creation. Her goal is to share love through her art, creating pieces that not only adorn but also inspire and connect people to their own stories.
In Sarah's second month of trading, her work was spotted by a stylist and subsequently was used to adorn a singer in her upcoming music video. More details can be given once the video has been released.
Sarah loves seeking inspiration through spending time in the beautiful natural spaces around her in North London, relaxing with her three Turkish Angora cats, spending time with family, playing the piano and painting. She also is an accomplished writer for health and medical journals, with almost 400 publications to her name as the sole author. Sarah continues to write, but her jewellery is her main focus and most rewarding passion. She has gradually built an entire jewellery studio over a period of several years and loves to make all of her pieces in the beautiful space she created. She also does all of her own professional photography.
